Comparison between two methods using by preschool teachers in teaching preschool english....
In our observation in two pre school that had been chosen.there is not too much different in method that be used in teaching english..For the Kemas which is conduct by Miss Nuraini Binti Raya,she fully used in KSPK lesson which is include theme and also example.For the Elit Kindergarten which is conduct by Madam Florence,she always used the Direct teaching by using picture book and also field work...Kemas Kindergarten are rarely going out and basically more activities inside classrom..But Elit Kindergarten are more open for bring the kids discover outside world which is will encourage their learning of science and technology...In Kemas,The teacher used the mix language.Elit also like that but it more advanced than kemas.Elit kindergarten not only placed 5-6 years old kids.It also placed the 2-4 years kids to learn.Besides that,Kemas only for 5-6 years old.As a conclusion.both teacher share the same opinion that parents need to always speak with the kids by using english words for encourage their english learning.

Amira : Aslammualaikum,teacher.we are from International islamic college.we want do some research about
the method of teaching english for pre-school children.For the first,What is your name?
Teacher : My name is Nuraini Binti Raya
Amira : For how many years have you been working in Pre-school?
Teacher : I had moved before.I newly 2 weeks work here.
Amira : Can you tell us something about your experience in working in a preschooler setting?
Teacher : So far,here parents play an important role.The kids just like our custamer.We teach them by follow
all the setting that had been set up.Because there is no different than other preschooler.
Amira : What are the teaching methods that you used to teach preschool english?
Teacher : We used KSPK methods..Such as have a theme and also direct learning.
Amira : So far,how successful the teaching methods that you used to teach preschool english?
Teacher : Its good.the kids can easily grab what we try to teach.but they are mostly like theme.
Amira : Waht is the importance of teaching english for preschool?
Teacher : It is very good for them.Because nowadays,there is so much person who is communicate in english
so,it directly trained the kids to expert in english
Amira : What are the good examples to teach english for children at home?
Teacher : Maybe basic english that should the parents have.Because education start from home.Parents can
buy a storybook or VCd.
Amira : From your opinion,what are the barriers for you when you teach preschool english and how do you
undertake the situation?
Teacher : there is no barrier i thought.Because if they do not understand,we will show the example
by use our movement.
Amira : Do you know about other teaching methods that available in order to teach preschool teacher?
Teacher : I think,we can show the way and example for them.
Amira : What are the specific commitments for parents and teacher do you think would be the most
appropriate to encourage the child to learn english?
Teacher : We use flash cars or book.So that,they will recognize the things that are close or not with them.
Amira : So,as conclusion,parents and teacher play the same level of role in teaching the kids,isn't?
Teacher : Yes,because we cant depends on teacher only.They spend more time with their parents rather
than teacher because they only have 4 hours with teacher.
